ABSTRACT ARTWORK

After 9 years of not painting it was amazing to get back to the easel. The lift and zest for life painting gives me is incredible! Colour....is my best friend! Colour... excites me. However it also causes an element of anxiety. Just going into an art store and seeing the array of colours causes me a great dilemma, I want them all but quite simply I can't afford to store them in an already cluttered flat., so it's a real challenge deciding the colours that come home with me. 

I enjoy tasking myself with new techniques and am pleasantly surprised at what can be achieved with the simplest of materials and tools.

I would encourage anyone to experiment with paint, it's great fun, rewarding (frustrating at times) but ultimately joyful!
